Our robot – A real eye-catcher
The way how fascinated visitors kept watching our robot is something you just have to have seen: spectators full of amazement awaited the moment as its gripper skillfully opened a tiny drawer, picked a small chocolate goody out of it and transferred it into a tube which practically let it fall right in front of visitor’s hands.
MAKA is meanwhile reputed to always deliver a „special something“. Beside this special show effect, the robot kept loading a double-portal machine which dry-demonstrated the routing of highly-precise components for a roulette table.

Woodworking trade show Ligna
At this year’s Ligna, MAKA will present their high-end CNC machining centre, type CR 27tx with optional robot handling. The CR27tx’s double portal unit is fitted with a high-performance 5-axis milling unit including tool shuttle, a vertical triple milling unit, a multiple-spindle drill unit and a chain-type tool magazine with 51 places.
The demonstrated CR 27tx is not only successfully used in the furniture, staircase or door production, it is highly appreciated among manufacturers operating across many industries, including automotive and aerospace.

Great success at world trade fair ALUMINIUM in Essen

Contrary to economic forecasting, MAKA’s presence at the Euromold 2009 turned out to be a great success. An almost 50 % decrease in the number of visitors and numerous new contacts give rise to optimism for the new business year.

Routing jobs handled by robot technology
On this year‘s international trade fair LIGNA 2009, MAKA gave proof that their robots can also handle routing jobs. In a dry demo, completed by video clips during the routing process, MAKA demonstrated the production of wooden soles for the famous wood clogs which attracted many interested visitors.
Bavarian OPEN HOUSE

Under the motto "Technology made in Bavaria" our UK affiliate presented live demonstrations on various machine types on their premises in Telford. With a convincing number of visitors the UK OPEN HOUSE was a great success and gives rise to promising new projects.

Eurocopter Donauwörth Germany
In the presence of several members of the management board of the two companies Eurocopter and MAKA, MAKA officially handed over their MM7 series on Eurocopter’s premises in Donauwörth/Germany. Beside Diehl Aircabin, MAKA now can count another company of the demanding aircraft industry among their clientele.

MAKA expand into new premises
MAKA UK has moved into new and bigger premises because of the increase in demand for their high quality, specialist, 5-axis CNC machining centres. The company reputation has been enhanced by the performance and back-up service experienced by a growing number of satisfied customers in the UK and in Ireland.
Additionally MAKA UK celebrate the 10th anniversary in the UK with an open week in June and launch the new showrooms officially.

World plastics fair "K-show" in Dusseldorf
After 8 days of K-show presence Maka can give a quite positive résumé: Numerous competent visitors from abroad kept discussing specification requirements and tailor-made solutions with us. Centre of interest had been the finishing of CRP, GRP and compound material parts. The exhibited Lamborghini boot lid provided by ACE was part of our dry-demonstrations shown on the MK 7 and became winner of the fair's OSCAR award.

In perfect coincidence with the visit of Bavaria’s Secretaries of Commerce and Justice on 03 August 2007, MAKA managed to conclude their greatest coup in the company’s history by receiving two most remarkable orders from the automotive sector.

On the occasion of the LIGNA World Fair MAKA officially launched their advanced CNC door machining centre CR 27 TBZ. The construction of this series reflects the company’s competence and experience with 5-axis technology, which convinced all experts on the show.
MAKA completed their product launch with the new travelling gantry series PE 75, for 5-axis precision machining of components with a maximum length of 6.000 mm.
