With new owners into the next phase of growth.

Positive future prospects and a great deal of potential - these were
the aspects which convinced Dr. Paul Lerbinger (left) and
Dr. Thomas Rubbe (centre). The two private investors took over MAKA on 24 October 2013. Permanent commitment is the objective. They are providing additional funds for further growth and helping MAKA by contributing their broad experience in the areas of industry and finance. Klaus Kern (right), who has managed MAKA successfully since 2012, remains the Managing Director.

2013 in retrospect.
A new all-time high of order backlog - this is how MAKA started into 2013. The result was a 30% increase in turnover compared to the previous year, a feat that was achieved in tendentially declining market.

Crucial points for MAKA’s positive development:

A focus on MAKA’s strengths: customized special-purpose

machines and automation of manufacturing processes

Successful launch and expansion of MAKA’s sales of special-

purpose machines in the Far East

Expansion of the service regarding preventive maintenance

and general overhaul of older systems

Support of renowned customers in the automotive industry

regarding technology development (in particular premium milled

parts for pilot runs)

These are developments and news that will directly or indirectly
benefit you - as a customer and partner - in 2014.

Our new CNC machining centre CD 7. Flexible fields of application and minimum space requirements - this is one reason why the CNC machining centre DC 7 convinces. Furthermore it is equipped with one or two independent 5-axis working units.
In the meantime, several extremely demanding customers have used this machine successfully in tough multi-shift operation.

Clear productivity advantages of DC 7:

Optimum precision thanks to stable construction of frame and

working unit carriers

Parallel machining options of vertically arranged work pieces

Special clamping system for heavy machining jigs and fixtures

Quick rotary table allows quick set-up processes during non-

productive time

In the future also benefit from this productivity increase due to a real MAKA solution.
